Matt Bunnell worked as a commercial fisherman, starting with tuna as a teenager and later fishing groundfish and sea scallops. When he and his wife Jen started a family, he moved to oyster farming for steadier work closer to home, and together they formed Sandy Neck Oyster Company in Barnstable.
