About Blish Point Oyster Farm

David Cranshaw started out unloading boats and processing the catch in New Bedford, where he saw overfishing and the collapse of the cod fishery at first hand. He ran a quahog nursery and farmed quahogs before moving to oysters, and in 2016 he partnered with Pangea Shellfish Company to start Blish Point Oyster Farm in Barnstable.
